Our Sustainability team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig City with the role of Sustainability Officer.

In this role, you will lead the implementation of the bank’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy under the direction of the Head of Sustainability Office. You will drive sustainability initiatives through operational execution, compliance oversight, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional project management to support the bank’s sustainable finance goals.

What the role will entail

• Implement sustainability programs aligned with the Bank’s goals, including compliance monitoring, data validation, and preparation of performance reports and dashboards.
• Manage sustainability projects and support capability-building efforts through research, training coordination, and vendor management.
• Maintain and analyze sustainability data to ensure accuracy and integrity across metrics, while supporting disclosures, benchmarking, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across business units and external partners to facilitate program delivery, engagement activities, and executive-level communications.
• Monitor compliance and ESG risks by tracking regulatory developments, supporting policy updates, and assisting in climate risk assessments and audits.
• Support strategic decision-making by contributing to business case development and staying informed on sustainability trends and emerging regulations.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Sustainability or any related course
• At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in sustainability, banking, project or risk management, with preference for candidates familiar with ESG frameworks, reporting, and compliance activities
• Possesses strong capabilities in project management and strategic execution, with proven skills in cross-functional collaboration, research, and analytical thinking
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI), and solid understanding of banking operations, financial products, and sustainability regulations and disclosure standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD).
• Demonstrates strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills to drive sustainability initiatives, while consistently delivering high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and taking ownership of project outcomes across diverse teams
