We are seeking a seasoned Project Director with a strong background in Highway and Structural Engineering to lead large-scale infrastructure projects including expressways, viaducts, roads, and bridges. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record of delivering complex transportation projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a seasoned Project Director with a strong background in Highway and Structural Engineering to lead large-scale infrastructure projects including expressways, viaducts, roads, and bridges. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record of delivering complex transportation projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design, and execution of highway and bridge projects.
- Oversee project lifecycle including feasibility studies, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance on structural design, load analysis, and construction methodologies.
- Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in highway and structural engineering, with a focus on expressways, viaducts, and bridges.
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of international design codes and construction standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
