About The Team & Business Line

As a core member of our IT Service Management team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends. Your role as Problem Manager will require the root cause analysis of Risk Events, review of incidents to determine trends or specific focus areas, regular reporting, documentation to meet regulatory requirements, and the tracking of actions to reduce and prevent service disruptions.

Responsibilities

Your Role

  • Lead problem management activities following major incidents, ensuring thorough investigation and documentation.
  • Document Major Risk Incident Events in preparation for required RCA review
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify the root cause of risk events and recurring incidents.
  • Develop and maintain problem records, including comprehensive documentation of investigations and solutions.
  • Facilitate regular problem review meetings with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Track and report on problem management KPIs and metrics.
  • Document and track preventive measures to reduce incident recurrence
  • Collaborate with Technical/Application/Business teams to ensure proper implementation of problem resolutions
  • Prepare, or assist in the preparation of, necessary Regulatory Reporting reports
  • Assist in the preparation of metrics for presentation at regular Risk and Compliance meetings
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement

Qualifications

About You:

  • You have a Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
  • 3+ years of IT experience, with 1+ years in the Problem Management/Incident Management area
  • ITIL Certification.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong listening, questioning, analytic, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Strong documentation and report writing abilities
  • Customer-focused, flexible and comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced global environment
  • Beneficial:
  • AWS certification or Azure/GCP
  • Knowledge of Windows, UNIX (Solaris, Linux), basic networking
  • Knowledge of major incident management processes
