Global Corporate Account Consultant

ROLE PURPOSE:

This role serves as the Subject Matter Expert and provide support to GCA team. This role will head, initiate projects and handle various Global Sales initiatives such as multiple alternate rates, corporate gold refresh, and audits. This role will be responsible in handling the NHOP offline process, discuss critical enhancements needed to support the different Corporate Sales Programs such as Corporate Gold, IHG Business Edge, Luxury & Lifestyle and TMC. This role will also handle the Robotic Process Automation (RPA), take charge and initiate cases related to automation. This role will be responsible in identifying system issues, liaise with GT and Product Team on defects and enhancements, create GS Intakes and identify trends.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Administrative & Leadership
• Head and initiate audits and projects to adequately support initiatives for Global Sales Strategy Team, Commercial, Distribution and Revenue Management Team.
• Liaise with Associate Managers and ensure that all training materials are documented, kept updated and reflect the latest processes and system changes.
• Responsible for the development, maintenance and updating of all GCA documents covering the end to end process.
• Support and provide the necessary refresher and ad hoc trainings to GCA Team.
• Support Senior Manager & Associate Managers in onboarding new team members ensuring the right people are in place to deliver on the IHG Vision.
• Strategic Reporting & Analysis
• Maintain all Robotics Process Automation such as Alternate Rate, GDS RPA viewership and audit process; ensure requirements are developed in accordance with specific business requirements when new systems/channels are added.
• Champion the design and publishing of quarterly performance reports for GCA Team.
• Provide feedback and raise inconsistencies and errors pertaining to GRS/Concerto, HCM, Channel Mapping Tool, Javelin - Production Source.
• Operational Support
• Support Global Sales and other stakeholders with concerns related to Corporate Accounts, GDS rate access codes, Alternate rates for IHG Business Edge, Corporate Gold, Luxury and Lifestyle, NSO and IHG Owners Rate.
• Act as initial escalation point for the team and manage inquiries sent by Global Sales, Revenue Management, Commercial, Distribution, IHG Owners Association and hotels.
• Maintain close working relationships with all identified business owners and develop a strong working knowledge and expertise of their respective business functional area.
• Liaise with Product Team & GT on system glitch and defects.
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education
• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Experience
• Minimum of 3 years progressive work experience in GCA team or related role with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position. Must be knowledgeable in Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Guest Reservation System (GRS) and IHG Javelin. Preferably has work related experience in hotel front desk, hotel reservations, GDS, travel industry or customer service in one or more functions related to the position.
• Technical Skills and Knowledge
• Highly competent in Microsoft Office Applications – i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint.
• Knowledgeable in areas of sales and sales operations
• Critical in areas of logic reasoning and process linkage
• Demonstrate strong time management skills
• Highly proficient in written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Capable and comfortable in completing repetitive tasks
