What is the job?

The Accountant is responsible in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and invoicing activities. The role assists the Controller and Billing Manager in ensuring accurate financial records, timely month-end close, and compliant accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Records and reconciles accounts payable transactions, including expenses, payments, and discrepancies.

• Assists with general ledger maintenance and month-end close activities, including schedules and reconciliations.

• Verifies, allocates, and posts accounts payable entries accurately.

• Processes monthly agreement, project-based, and down payment invoicing on time.

• Sets up new customer agreements and billing profiles in accounting systems.

• Maintains organized financial documentation and supports analytical reviews and issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree (AA) or Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Accounting or Finance.

• Minimum of two (2) years of related accounting or finance experience.

• Experience supporting billing, project invoicing, or agreement-based invoicing is a plus.

• US GAAP expertise and prior experience are essential.

• Proficient in QuickBooks and applies general accounting principles, including AR, AP, and invoicing.

• Performs account reconciliations and supports month-end close activities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Manages multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment with clear communication to internal stakeholders.

• Must have stable employment history.
