Job Summary
- The Wealth Acquisition Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding the customer base of the bank by onboarding new-to-bank clients into the Wealth Management portfolio. This position requires a combination of sales acumen, financial expertise, and relationship-building skills to identify and attract high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) / affluent clients to the bank's wealth management services. The primary focus is on establishing and nurturing relationships with prospective clients, understanding their financial needs, and offering tailored / bespoke wealth management solutions.
- Customer Acquisition: Identify and prospect potential clients who are new to the bank and have wealth management needs. Conduct market research to identify target demographics and develop strategies to attract new clients. Utilize various channels such as own network of clients, personal referrals, leads from various internal business partners, and digital platforms to generate and convert leads to acquire new to bank clients in order to generate and meet targeted sales volume or assets under management (AUM) and revenues/income for the bank.
- Trusted Financial Advisor: Meet with prospective clients to understand their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment preferences. Analyze clients' financial situations and recommend appropriate Wealth Management products and services. Present personalized investment proposals and provide insights on investment strategies to help clients achieve their goals and aspirations. Ensures provision of excellent customer service through accurate and timely servicing of accounts.
- Seamless Client Onboarding: Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition. Gather required documentation and assist clients in completing account opening procedures. Educate clients on the bank's wealth management offerings, account features, and online platforms. Ensures smooth referral and transfer of client relationships to the Wealth Management RM group, as well as other groups within the Bank and YGC companies and affiliates. Maintains and services new-to-bank Wealth Management clients by ensuring correctness, accuracy and completeness of reports, certificates, balances, advices, confirmations and other documents are received by the clients.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client acquisition and revenue generation. Track client engagement and satisfaction levels, seeking feedback to continuously improve service quality. Prepare regular reports on new client acquisitions, revenue growth, and market trends for management review. Closely monitor profitability of all accounts through regular and periodic review of reports. Maintains careful and prudent pricing and keeps rates competitive but profitable. Controls and keeps expenses low and consciously identifies cost-cutting opportunities.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers, investment advisors, product specialists, and marketing teams, to leverage resources and expertise in delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions to clients.
- At least 3 years experience in the same capacity and similar or related role /function
- With existing wide network of clients
- A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with HNW / affluent clients,
- Able to provide effective and sound financial and investment advice to clients
- Preferrably Chinese Speaking, but not required
- Sales and Marketing-oriented
