DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure and monitor all tugs for company compliance and navigation.
- Communicate with other ship operators about navigating safety rules and regulations.
- Weather conditions are monitored to safeguard the vessel and crew's safety.
- Using tide, current, and wind patterns to guide the tugboat through challenging waters or limited passageways.
- Inspecting onboard safety standards by enforcing regulations governing safety equipment, fire drills, and other procedures.
- Responsible for all vessel operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a tugboat as a mate.
- Proficient in survival craft and rescue boats.
- Willing to be assigned to any location as required.
- Major Patron Licensed
- Experience as TM/CM on Z-Peller and Duck-Peller tugboats in harbor assisting and towages.
- Willing to be deployed in any location
- The candidate must have the following qualities:
- analytical thinker with problem-solving skills
- keen on details.
- Good communication skills.
- Leadership skills
