The Test Analyst role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive testing processes. With a focus on automation and manual testing the candidate will utilize tools such as Jenkins GITHUB and Selenium to execute test plans. The role requires collaboration within an AGILE environment leveraging technical skills in Java Python and networking to enhance software performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Utilize Jenkins and GITHUB for continuous integration and version control to streamline testing processes.
- Implement automation testing using Selenium to increase efficiency and accuracy in test execution.
- Conduct manual testing to validate software performance and user experience.
- Work within an AGILE framework to adapt testing strategies to evolving project requirements.
- Leverage technical skills in Java and Python to create and maintain test scripts and tools.
- Utilize Jira for tracking and managing defects and testing progress.
- Apply networking knowledge to test software applications in various environments.
- Use Bitbucket for code repository management and collaboration with development teams.
- Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices to maintain software integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing methodologies and outcomes.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on testing results to enhance software quality.
- Possess strong experience in Jenkins GITHUB and automation testing tools like Selenium.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Java and Python for developing test scripts and tools.
- Have a solid understanding of AGILE methodologies and their application in testing.
- Exhibit expertise in manual testing and defect management using Jira.
- Show knowledge in networking concepts relevant to software testing environments.
- Experience with Bitbucket for effective code management and collaboration.
- Nice to have domain experience in Payer to enhance testing relevance and effectiveness.
