About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Telco and WiFi Services to lead and manage our telecommunications and wireless internet services division. This critical leadership role will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of telco infrastructure and WiFi network services, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance to meet the business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development and implementation of Telco and WiFi services.
- Manage end-to-end network infrastructure including mobile networks, fixed broadband, and WiFi deployments.
- Ensure reliable and scalable network performance through proactive capacity planning and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors, ISPs, and technology partners.
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure top-tier service quality and availability.
- Develop policies, procedures, and best practices for network security and compliance.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization for the telco and WiFi division.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in telecommunications and wireless connectivity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in telecommunications and WiFi network management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise in IP networking, LTE/5G, WiFi (802.11 standards), and network architecture.
- Proven experience managing large-scale network deployments and operations.
- Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CCNP, CWNP, or PMP are a plus.
- Experience with telecom regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Background in managing services for both enterprise and consumer markets.
