Summary:
As a Technical Writer you will be responsible in producing written or visual documentation. Your typical day will involve translating complex technical solutions, strategies and themes into easily understandable, readable responses.
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain technical documents such as functional description, installation guide, etc. for one or more products.
Provide announcements related to product releases for global audience.
Simplify technical and complicated concepts into easy-to-understand texts.
Learn product/s by using the application through test scripts and free testing.
Meet with developers to ensure correct understanding of new product features and other changes in the application.
Ensure documentation accuracy by working closely with product team members.
Ensure documentation is complete and within schedule.
Manage other related tasks.
Professional and Technical Skills
Required skill: Proficiency in Technical Documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in creating user manuals, technical guides, and release notes.
Familiarity with content management systems and documentation tools. Knowledge of industry-standard style guides and documentation best practices.
Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Technical Documentation.
