Responsibilities

• Manage a group of VA Developers
• Oversees code quality standards and conduct code reviews as part of the release process.
• Manages version control and ensures accurate tracking of code changes throughout the release lifecycle.
• Initiates the deployment pipeline to move code from development to testing environments.
• Ensures successful completion of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before authorizing the release to production.
• Collaborates with VA Production Support team to execute production deployments and manages the production deployment pipeline.
• Work closely with Bell team in resourcing for projects and deliverables
• Oversee projects and deployment cycles. Work with various stakeholders for successful deployment.
• Facilitate interviews and identify successful candidates with preferred skillsets.
• Plan, organize and facilitate onboarding and refresher trainings
• Identify knowledge / skill gaps and conceptualize solutions for improvement
• Review members’ performance and reward accomplishments
• Create performance reports to define the performance the team and ascertain how well the developers are doing and where improvements can be made.
• Help in identifying Key Performance Indicators to demonstrate how effectively the team is achieving business objectives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in DFCX
• Experience in managing and leading technical teams
• Proven experience in managing software releases, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Strong technical background including programming
• Skill in driving continuous improvement initiatives to foster a rapid, reliable, and innovative delivery pipeline.
• Excellent written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
• Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and quality in release processes.
• Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience
• Knowledge and experience of software delivery methodologies (i.e. AGILE, Waterfall, V Model)
• Relevant certifications in Dialogflow or project management can be beneficial.
• A good understanding of new technologies
