Job Responsibilities
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures for all incoming deliveries and outgoing finished goods.
- Evaluate the adequacy of quality assurance standards.
- Oversee the entire production process, scheduling station, assigning, overseeing team leaders, reporting, and inspecting finished goods.
- Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
- Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
- Application of production processes and formulas in production machinery to produce finished goods and bi-products.
- Sensory Evaluation Reports.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to warehouse Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Review and verify COAs for incoming materials and finished products.
- Support formulation and formulation trials for new product development
- Document findings and assist with process optimization based on trial results.
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
- Review documents related to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), ISO, and other certifications.
- Manage document control processes, including updating, distributing, and archiving quality documents.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
- Inspect packaging for integrity, ensuring it protects products during storage and transportation.
- Monitor pest control activities within the warehouse and production areas.
Qualifications:
- Degree in BS Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or any related science courses.
- At least 3 years and up of related working experience and/or in the food industry or manufacturing and working experience related to Quality Food Safety Management systems (e.g. GMP, HACCP, Basic Food Safety).
- Willing to work in Taytay, Rizal.
