Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Management Accounting or related courses
  • Must be a CPA
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience and with at least 2 years Managerial role in Philippine Taxation, BIR and LGU communication, in retail industry or similar duties
  • Can face the BIR and LGU officers to facilitate tax related negotiations on behalf of the company’s officers
  • Willing to work in Tipolo Mandaue City

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • This job directly reports to the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Executive Officer.
  • This is responsible in ensuring the entire Prince Retail Group’s compliance to all government statutory with financial-related government bureaus such as BIR, SEC, BOC, LGUs, PhilGeps and others that may arise by the direction of the Management.
  • Participates in the strategic planning and execution of tax planning initiatives; Ensures the accuracy and timelines of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of BIR-related taxes and reports;
  • Facilitates all applications, renewals and compliance to other government bureaus related to the business operations as mandated by the Board of Directors;
  • Allocates tasks, and responsibilities to the members of the Compliance department including people management and talent development within one’s own team;

Trains and disseminates information to responsible managers, supervisors and personnel of the organization must be done regularly to ensure that updates and new changes from the government bureaus are implemented accordingly.
