Description & Requirements We are seeking a highly skilled System Consultant with expertise in OS platform administration, database systems, cloud environments, and Java-based application maintenance. The role involves providing post-go-live support, system administration, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be capable of resolving complex issues, performing system maintenance, and managing platform and application health across various environments.


A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Post Go-Live Support: Provide ongoing support to clients under a Managed Services Contract. This includes resolving incidents and problems according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Incident & Problem Management: Investigate and troubleshoot issues across the platform, system, applications, servers, and databases, ensuring resolution within SLAs.
• System Administration & Maintenance:
• Perform OS platform administration across AS400, Windows, and Linux.
• Manage and maintain databases (SQL/DB2) including upgrades, patches, and certificate maintenance.
• Administer Java-based applications, performing fixes, patches, and necessary updates.
• Database Management: Administer SQL Server and DB2 databases, ensuring optimal performance, upgrades, and troubleshooting when necessary.
• Platform & Server Maintenance: Oversee regular system and server maintenance, including system patches and assessing and retrofitting according to monthly release updates.
• System Upgrades: Conduct system upgrades, ensuring compatibility and stability across all platforms, applications, and databases.
• Troubleshooting & Complex Issue Resolution: Address and resolve complex technical issues related to systems, servers, and databases.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work in a hybrid team environment, collaborating effectively with internal teams and clients.

Required skills:

• Strong experience with OS platform administration (AS400, Windows, Linux).
• Solid knowledge of Database Administration (SQL Server, DB2).
• Familiarity with Cloud Systems and integration.
• Expertise in Java-based application maintenance.
• Ability to perform system troubleshooting and maintenance, including patching, updates, and upgrades.
• Hands-on experience with Release Impact Management (RIM).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in System Administration and Server Maintenance.
• Strong background in SQL Server, Database Knowledge, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks within SLAs.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid work setup.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with complex technical issue resolution.
