Stewarding Manager

The Stewarding Manager is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of all kitchen and back-of-house areas. He/she will ensure the efficient and economical operation of the stewarding department by managing stewarding staff, controlling inventory and waste management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Stewarding Manager also supports all other operational departments by ensuring efficient operations and all sanitation standards are met.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in stewarding or kitchen operations. He/she should have strong leadership and team management skills, knowledge of sanitation and safety standards in food service environments, and good communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with inventory management systems, certification in food safety or sanitation (e.g., ServSafe), and the ability to train and motivate a diverse team are also preferred.
