We are currently looking for a Senior Insights Analyst who will provide high-quality insights, insightful media analysis, and research to our clients. The SIA will also build and maintain solid client relationships by demonstrating strong industry knowledge.
Job Description/Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the insights and analysis function for key accounts and projects.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis and market trends.
- Manage and analyze large data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
- Develop and deliver actionable insights and reports to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for client projects.
- Present findings and recommendations to clients clearly and compellingly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and insights.
- Oversee the development and implementation of data analysis projects.
- Define project objectives and deliverables.
- Manage project timelines and resources.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior analysts.
- Guide and support junior analysts in their professional development.
- Provide feedback and constructive criticism to help improve their analysis and reporting skills.
- Ensure high-quality and consistent outputs from the team.
- Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes and methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Suggest and implement enhancements to existing analysis frameworks.
- Stay informed about emerging tools and technologies in the field of data analysis.
- Share knowledge and best practices with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mass Communication, Journalism, Broadcast Communication, Research, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Media, or any related courses.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a data analysis and insights role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in data analysis software and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, Python).
- Experience working with large data sets and using statistical analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Knowledge of market research methodologies and industry trends.
- Detail-oriented and able to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the media monitoring or analysis industry.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
