The position reports to the Human Resources Department Manager.
Responsibilities
III. Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement initiatives promoting industrial peace (harmonious labor and management relations).
- Coordinates employee engagement programs.
- Coordinates Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
- Set directions and put structures, systems and programs in place that will support the rewards and recognition thrust of the company.
IV. Qualifications
Educational Background:
- AB/BS Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science or other related sciences; Masters Degree and/or a Diploma Program in Business, Industrial Psychology, HR, Training, or Organizational Development is preferred.
- Exposure in various Human Resources Management functions with specialization in Employee/Industrial Relations is an advantage.
- Semiconductor / Manufacturing experience, good grasp of labor laws & industrial relations, excellent communication & interpersonal skills, counseling skills, project management skills, working knowledge of HR/OD key initiatives and supervisory skills..
- Computer proficiency – Familiarity with timekeeping software (e.g., Kronos) Extensive use of Microsoft Office including knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Time management – Prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to resolve conflicts in a courteous and pleasant manner
- Communication skills – Coordinating with employees, supervisors, and HR
