Specialist Sr, Human Resources (Employee Relations)

Job Description

Basic Purpose of the Job

Support to create positive work environment and ensure strong relationships between employees and the organization. This role is crucial in maintaining a harmonious workplace by addressing employee concerns, promoting collaboration, and enforcing HR policies.

II. Reporting Relationship

The position reports to the Human Resources Department Manager.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement initiatives promoting industrial peace (harmonious labor and management relations).
• Coordinates employee engagement programs.
• Coordinates Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
• Set directions and put structures, systems and programs in place that will support the rewards and recognition thrust of the company.
  
  

Qualifications

Educational Background:

• AB/BS Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science or other related sciences; Masters Degree and/or a Diploma Program in Business, Industrial Psychology, HR, Training, or Organizational Development is preferred.
  
  

Work Experience:

• Exposure in various Human Resources Management functions with specialization in Employee/Industrial Relations is an advantage.
• Semiconductor / Manufacturing experience, good grasp of labor laws & industrial relations, excellent communication & interpersonal skills, counseling skills, project management skills, working knowledge of HR/OD key initiatives and supervisory skills..
  
  

Knowledge/Skills:

• Computer proficiency – Familiarity with timekeeping software (e.g., Kronos) Extensive use of Microsoft Office including knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
• Time management – Prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to resolve conflicts in a courteous and pleasant manner
• Communication skills – Coordinating with employees, supervisors, and HR
