Role Overview

New Product Development & Supplier Management

• Manage NPD projects, technology transfers, and alternate supplier development.
• Source product solutions based on Marketing requirements and ensure alignment of milestones with QA, Manufacturing, Planning, and Marketing.
• Ensure sourced products meet target COGS and are delivered on time for sell-in and pipeline needs.
• Lead discussions and negotiations with potential and existing suppliers.
• Prepare cost and risk assessments and ensure timely delivery of samples/prototypes.
• Endorse alternate suppliers and facilitate interdepartmental meetings to resolve NPD issues.
  
  

Supplier & Technical Support

• Support Purchasing in resolving technical issues, capacity constraints, price validation, and supplier concerns.
• Coordinate with QA and internal partners to address supplier issues and negotiate adjustments when needed.
• Prepare presentations and recommendations for Technical Council approval.
• Ensure proper documentation and smooth implementation of approved changes.
• Maintain SAP contracts to support automated PO issuance.
  
  

Strategic Sourcing & Risk Management

• Build strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier business health and risks.
• Conduct price discovery activities to optimize cost, supplier performance, and supply continuity.
• Perform strategic capacity reviews and determine optimal supplier splits per commodity.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related courses).
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Financial literacy and strong analytical skills.
