Position Summary

You will have a focus on the development of business software in a variety of platforms. You will need

to interact with Clients, assessing their needs and guiding the development process. You should have

effective communication skills, being able to talk with both users and help them to understand aspects

of software development. You will need to be able to explain technology terms and restraints to non technical users and business managers.You will need to be able to understand business concepts and

translate them into software processes. It is essential that you can either work autonomously or as an

integrated part of a team

PREREQUISITES: Education/ Technical & Soft Skills/ Work Experience

  • Education

Degree or similar qualification in IT or Software Development.

Technical Skills

  • A solid understanding of object-oriented coding using C#
  • Writing SQL queries and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server
  • .NET Windows Forms experience
  • ASP.NET Web Forms experience
  • Interaction with RESTful web APIs
  • Experience with reporting tools such as DevExpress, MS PowerBI
  • Experience with databases such as MySql, MS Access, Foxpro
  • Android mobile application development
  • Xamarin or MAUI UI development
  • ASP.NET Core web development

Work Experience

With at least 3 years of experience in a similar B2B Software Development, in a similar

organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages;
  • Database design, identification of code metrics, software reliability analysis;
  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis;
  • Front end user interface design;
  • Prepare & execute software test plans and quality assurance;
  • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation;
  • Support, maintain and document software functionality;
  • Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation;
  • Implement localization and globalization of software.
  • Be the ‘first point of contact’ between the agency and the client. Includes regular client liaison

by phone, video and email.

General

  • Present to work in a fit manner, including adhering to drug and alcohol, and fatigue policies.
  • Behave in a manner that protects the safety of yourself, fellow workers, and visitors.
  • Comply with all reasonable written and verbal instructions from direct supervisor, senior

management.

  • Look after all company equipment and check for defects prior to use.
  • Perform all works to the highest standard.
  • Communicate appropriately and in timely manner with all persons including management, co workers and co-workers when required.
  • Report all injuries and illnesses immediately to the direct supervisor.
  • Attend and participate in all meetings and inspections where required.
  • Participate in induction, training, and review activities.
  • Adhere to all AlphaBiz Solutions policies and procedures
