Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or any related field.
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years’ work experience as Marketing Officer or similar role

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Deep understanding of the utilities (energy, water, gas) and agriculture sectors, including

challenges and trends.

  • Familiarity with the regulatory environment in both sectors and how it impacts product

development.

  • Strong product management experience, including product lifecycle management, market

analysis, and customer-focused development.

  • Ability to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and manage timelines.
  • Proficiency in Agile or other product development methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams

(technical, operational, regulatory, marketing).

  • Ability to engage with external stakeholders like suppliers, regulatory authorities, and industry

groups.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and challenges in both

industries.

  • Creative thinking to design innovative products that meet the evolving needs of both utilities

and agricultural customers.

  • Ability to understand customer needs (e.g., farmers, energy providers, utilities) and translate

them into product requirements.

  • Basic technical knowledge of utilities infrastructure (such as smart grid systems, energy storage

solutions, etc.) and agricultural technology (such as drones, sensors, automated systems).

  • Knowledge of relevant standards, certifications, and sustainability practices.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a clear product strategy for both utilities and agriculture products, ensuring

alignment with company goals and market demands.

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery and evolution of product

offerings.

  • Understand industry trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for new product

development or improvements in existing products.

  • Conduct research on trends in the utilities and agriculture industries, including emerging

technologies, regulations, sustainability initiatives, and market shifts.

  • Perform competitor analysis to assess market positioning and identify opportunities for

differentiation or improvement.

  • Collaborate with various teams including R&D, engineering, design, sales, and operations to

ensure product development is aligned with both technical capabilities and customer

requirements.

  • Work with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, regulatory bodies, and electrical/agricultural

cooperatives, to drive product development and market access.

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, growth, and eventual phase-out or

update.

  • Track product performance through metrics such as market share, customer satisfaction, and

profitability.

  • Continuously assess customer feedback and industry trends to iterate and improve product

offerings.

  • Develop pricing strategies based on market demand, competition, and production costs while

ensuring product profitability.

  • Work closely with finance teams to forecast product demand and manage profitability.
  • Explore opportunities for bundling products or offering service packages to enhance customer

value and drive growth.

  • Educate internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, support teams) about the utility and agricultural

products to ensure they can effectively promote and support them.

  • Provide product training to customers, ensuring they understand how to use the products

effectively.

  • Partner with sales and customer support teams to understand customer pain points and

continuously improve the product.

  • Engage with both B2B (e.g., farming operations, utility companies) and B2C customers to gather

insights into product needs and preferences.

  • Ensure that products comply with national and regional regulatory standards related to utilities

(such as energy or water consumption) and agriculture (such as pesticide use, crop protection,

etc.).

Salary Range: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month

Work Schedule: 8 hours shift (Day Shift)
