Senior Manager – Health Technology (TB)

Job Brief

The Senior Manager - Health Technology (TB) will collaborate closely with counterparts in TB Luzon to deploy and roll out any planned TB technology enhancements in the TB VizMin regions. S/he will lead initiatives to optimize the use of technology in healthcare settings across VizMin. This role is pivotal in enhancing health technology systems to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes for TB patients in the region. This position will be based in Cebu City.

Roles & Responsibilities

Implementation of Health Technology Systems

• Lead the deployment and integration of new health technology solutions and enhancements specific to TB management.
• Collaborate with health practitioners and facility stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of systems in healthcare settings.
  
  

Data Management & Analysis

• Provide technical assistance to health information system users across VizMin, including CHDs, CHOs, LGUs, healthcare workers, and other stakeholders, to ensure data management practices uphold accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
• Guide users in interpreting health information system outputs to enable evidence-based decision-making, identify trends, optimize patient care strategies, and support efficient resource allocation through actionable planning.
• Facilitate user training sessions on data management practices, such as data entry, cleaning, validation, and visualization, tailored to the needs of specific stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the monitoring and evaluation team to integrate data analysis efforts with overarching project objectives and reporting frameworks.
  
  

Workflow Optimization

• Assess and provide technical assistance in refining existing healthcare workflows to integrate technology efficiently.
  
  

Training and Support

• Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare staff on the use of new health technologies.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance to DOH in addressing any issues that may arise post-implementation.
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Public Health, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus with at least seven (7) years of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of health technology systems, electronic health records (EHR), and data management.
• Experience deploying and integrating health technology solutions and enhancements.
• Experience in healthcare settings, particularly in TB or infectious disease management, is highly desirable.
