Job Summary

  • Responsible for leading and executing leasing strategies to maximize occupancy, rental income and long-term value of the company’s real estate portfolio. This role oversees tenant acquisition, lease negotiation, renewals and tenant relationship management.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement leasing plans to achieve occupancy and revenue goals
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities and tenant opportunities
  • Recommend rental rates, lease terms and incentive packages aligned with approved strategies
  • Manage end-to-end lease negotiations, from prospecting to contract signing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants
  • Oversee lease renewals, expansions, relocations, and terminations
  • Network with brokers, agents, and corporate tenants to generate leads
  • Identify opportunities to secure new tenants
  • Monitor leasing performance against budget and KPI
  • Collaborate with finance and asset management on rent collection
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise leasing officers, provide training and manage performance
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture within the leasing team
  • Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
  • Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.
  • Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 7 years experience in leasing, with at least 3 years in leadership role
  • Strong track record in closing deals for office, retail, or mixed-use developments
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of real estate market dynamics, laws and contracts
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
