About The Role

The Senior Engineer drives the delivery of innovative, high-quality software by leading medium-sized projects from design to deployment. They architect scalable solutions, write and review code, and mentor junior engineers to foster continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

Working within the Agent Experience division’s Skylight Crew, they collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver products that set new industry standards and elevate the experience of real estate professionals across Australia.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leads end-to-end delivery of medium-sized projects.
  • Solves complex technical challenges and ensures secure, scalable solutions.
  • Writes and reviews high-quality, maintainable code and documentation.
  • Designs with system-wide impact, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Contributes to architecture standards, system health, and tech debt resolution.
  • Mentors junior engineers and fosters a culture of excellence.
  • Drives collaboration within the squad and with Product Owners to align with business needs.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience designing software solutions for scale
  • Experience working with one of the common Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
  • Designing scalable software solutions using TypeScript/JavaScript and React
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams (Product, Design and Tech)
  • Experience implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD
  • Experience with Microservices architecture
