Role Overview

The Senior Accounts Payable Accountant will oversee vendor invoicing, payments, and employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. The role also involves maintaining vendor relationships, supporting audits and month-end close, and driving process improvements in AP operations.


Key Responsibilities


Vendor & Expense Management

  • Process vendor invoices, freelancer/contractor payments, and production-related expenses.
  • Verify accuracy and compliance with purchase orders, contracts, and company policies.
  • Manage vendor data, payment schedules, and resolve payment inquiries.
  • Process employee reimbursements, per diem, and travel expense claims.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and petty cash.

Financial Controls & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records in Xero and track project-related expenses.
  • Prepare AP aging reports, payment forecasts, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Support month-end close, audit preparation, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor AP metrics and recommend process improvements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with CPA qualification required
  • 5 years and up of AP experience, preferably in advertising or media.
  • Can mentor junior accounting associates.
  • Proficiency in Xero, Google Suite Applications, and advanced Excel functions.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with production expense tracking and automated AP workflows preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


This is a fixed hybrid setup in Makati 5 days working week - 3x onsite and 2x work from home setup.
