Safety Officer

The Safety Officer develops, implements, and manages the company's occupational safety and health programs, conducting inspections and training to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

About The Job

• Implement Occupational Safety Programs in alignment with company and international standards.
• Conduct training on Fire Safety, Accident Prevention, Occupational Safety, and other training relevant to safety
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and acquire necessary permits.
• Plan and coordinate company-wide safety initiatives and manage their execution.
• Perform regular safety audits and inspections across departments, reporting findings and recommending improvements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for safety reports and compliance records.
• Attend safety meetings and liaise with regulatory agencies on safety matters.
• Address various safety concerns as required.
  
  
  
  

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, human resources, or a related field.
• Training in safety, industrial hygiene, or ergonomics.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a safety role or equivalent.
• With mandatory 40 basic OSH training
• With a certificate in additional 48 hours of advanced/specialized occupational safety training
• Knowledge of safety program evaluation, risk management, and accident prevention.
• Skills in conducting inspections, investigations, and safety training.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships across the organization.
