What will your responsibilities be?
- Conduct on-site PLA at supplier plants
- Analyze and verify all production phases (Plastic injection, Parts checking and control processes, Process logistics, Other operations)
- Identify cost-saving opportunities from a tooling/technical perspective
- Perform on-site controls of the production process (maintenance and storage)
- Assess real conditions of tools, produced parts, and tool shots
- Support throughout the product life cycle
- Continuous Improvement / Supplier development
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify improvement ideas and solutions
- Focus on cost reduction activities
- Create and manage a database containing 3D data for all tools and production devices
- High School Diploma or Mechanical Engineering Degree
- 5 years of experience in plastic injection (production, tools, parts, or design).
- Ability to handle multi-task assignments
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Fluent in English and plastic injection terminology
- Wilingness to travel
