Quality Engineer

About the role

Steelwell Industrial Hardware (Phils.) Corporation, a leading manufacturer of industrial hardware, is seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our team in our Lipa City, Batangas location. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures to maintain high standards of product quality
• Analysing data and generating reports to monitor quality trends and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related problems and implement corrective actions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and the company's quality management system
• Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality best practices
• Continuously exploring ways to enhance the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues
• Knowledgeable in using quality management tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
