Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
  • Come up with Test Plan and write Test Cases for Web Applications
  • Execute the Test Cases Manually and provide sign Offs
  • Define test automation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites as per below.
  • UI Automation:
  • Experience on Java or Python programming languages.
  • Expertise in creation of test scripts
  • Capturing elements dynamically and writing gherkin files
  • Basic knowledge/experience on any automation testing tools (ex: Selenium, Test complete etc..)

API Automation

  • Good experience on postman
  • Any framework experience using below tools.
  • Apache Jmeter,
  • Rest Assured
  • Ready api
  • SoapUI
  • Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.
  • Identify and report defects, track issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
  • Maintain code using Source Control systems majorly Git
  • Write clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and share knowledge within the team.

Qualifications

  • BE/BTech/ME/MTech: [Computer Science] / MCA
  • 5+ years of proven experience in test automation
  • Strong Manual Testing skills
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Experience with Agile software development processes and practices.
  • Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or similar.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems majorly Git is a must
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, gitlab CI, BitBucket CI , or similar is a must
