Tasks & responsibilities
- Creates and reviews Purchase Orders (POs) on agreed schedules of the assigned supplier and area or territory ensuring that proper pricing and margins are reflected.
- Timely processes documents for approval (price changes, change of item description, disposal reports, BO reports, and other reports) as needed.
- Maintains and updates the master list quarterly for top-selling and regular items to ensure that the assortment is updated and correct.
- Prepares weekly/ monthly Stock to stock-to-sales ratio (SSR) reports and coordinates with the buyers/ replenishment supervisors in ensuring appropriate inventory.
- Addresses weekly/ monthly reports from branches assigned to them and ensures end-to-end communication replenishment and service to operations and other interrelated departments.
- Coordinates with buyer/ senior buyers for support and promotions for sale events or special events of the stores, as well as for store openings.
- Keeps all records on file for both active and inactive documents for easy retrieval of documents at any time; Performs other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Mathematics, or any of its related courses.
- At least six (6) months to one (2) year of relevant work experience in Purchasing and Inventory.
- Experience in FMCG, DEPARTMENT STORE or GENERAL MERCHANDISE is a PLUS.
