Public Relation Specialist

Occidental Mindoro Consolidated Power Corp. (OMCPC) is a Power Generation Company situated in Occidental Mindoro. It has Plant sites in the Municipalities of Mamburao, Sablayan and San Jose.

OMCPC is looking for an experienced public relations specialist who will be tasked to promote and uphold the positive image of the organization. The candidate must be skilled in different and latest communication strategies.

Job Description:

• Assist the PR Officer in developing PR marketing strategies
• Communicate with stakeholders, politicians, various government agencies, press and media representatives
• Create and facilitate effective PR campaigns
• Organize PR and CSR related events
• Help in the management of PR crises and issues that involve the organization

Skills and qualifications

• Proficient in all social media platforms, such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good at public speaking and presenting
• Ability to establish networking
• Can build effective relationships with politicians, government agencies and the press
• Ability to diffuse tense situations and stay calm during crisis
• Must have a background in media management and public relations
• Graduate of BS/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or other related field
• Willing to be assigned in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
