Your Role

As a Project Estimator – Kitchen Cabinets, You Will

• Review architectural and construction drawings to perform detailed plan take-offs for bidding purposes.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for bids, proposals, and ongoing projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine scope and materials needed.
• Collaborate with sales and project teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of estimates, bid documents, and revisions.
• Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure accurate pricing and timelines.
• Verify and cross-check measurements, quantities, and design details for accuracy.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency while maintaining quality.
• Provide technical insights during bid and project review discussions.
• Promote accuracy, safety, and accountability in all estimating activities.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• 2–5 years of estimating experience, ideally in construction, cabinetry, or design environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience with kitchen and bath cabinet design.
• Proficiency in estimating/design tools such as AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, Bluebeam, or similar software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, accountability, and safety.
