Project Engineer

Job description

Project Engineer's daily activities can include selecting HVAC products and preparing quotations for them that meet the client’s requirements and budgets. An application engineer will also provide technical support, specialist product information, and training to both staff and customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist sales representative in assessing potential ability to meet customer’s needs.

· Gather engineering data as it pertains to the specific project.

· Provide technical support and information to the company’s reps and customers.

· Provide quotes for customers by preparing accurate pricing for a project after gathering all necessary information.

· Project management- Single source customer contact for all project issues/activities.

· Review engineering drawings, analyze design, and retrieve information to complete the drawing, layout, or design.

· Create and ensure the accuracy of the project buyout components lists.

· Release project for manufacturing and monitor equipment in production.

· Manage contractual modifications during the project to ensure project profitability.

· Process change order requests made without impacting production and scheduled ship dates.

Experience and Qualification

· Minimum 3 years of experience in A/C Equipment Sales

. Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC

. With Refrigeration System knowledge will be advantage

· Similar working experience in a multinational firm

· Technical Education and Service field experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

· Ability to understand engineering drawing and Heat Load calculation.

· Able to understand equipment specification, construction material, design speechification.

· Strong product knowledge of Chillers, Airside & VRV/VRF

· Advanced HVAC knowledge & experience

· Capable of work under pressure.

· Must have driver's license.
