Job Description

Drives intentional lifecycle management of products and platforms, particularly in their Growth, Maturity, and Decline stages, with focus on profitability, maximizing platform utilization, and ensuring effective end-of-life transitions.

Duties And Responsibilities

Manages execution of assigned product portfolios across the following areas:

• Profitability Management:
• Analyze product/platform performance, identify opportunities for revenue growth, and optimize cost structures.
• -Monitor and report on product/platform profitability throughout their lifecycle.
• Maximization of Value:
• Identify and implement strategies to enhance product/platform features and functionalities.
• Recommend initiatives to increase customer adoption and usage.
  
  
  

EOL/Obsolescence Management

• From a product perspective, develop and execute system end-of-life plans to minimize customer impact of obsolescence.
  
  
  

Top 3-5 Deliverables

Profitability: Product/Platform Cost Reduction Plans

• Plans and strategies to reduce costs for identified priority products, including analysis of cost drivers and operational efficiency improvements.
  
  
  

Maximization: Feature Utilization Enhancement Reports:

• Reports analyzing feature usage across key platforms, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategies to increase adoption.
  
  
  

EOL: EOL Mitigation Roadmaps:

• Product roadmaps outlining initiatives for mitigating critical EOL items for HW and SW components, ensuring zero unmitigated critical items.
  
  
  

KPIs

• Lower overall product cost of identified priority products.
• Increase platform value by improving feature usage.
• Maintain product platform roadmaps with no unmitigated EOL critical items.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product/platform lifecycle management, product management, or a related field.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.
• Proficient in data analysis tools and software.
• Strong presentation and reporting skills.
