Title: Process Engineering Officer

This Process Engineering Officer role involves planning, leading and implementing Process Improvements Initiatives aligned to the strategic direction of the company through utilization of business process frameworks, related systems and tools. Acts as a catalyst of change and drives initiatives in partnership with process owners and cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution. Contributes to business results through quality of results, recommendations and decisions.

Business Process Improvement Framework Implementation

  • Responsible for managing the development and execution of JFC’s continuous improvement objectives for corporate processes.
  • Creates the end-to-end Process Improvement Framework for the organization to ensure clear linkages and smooth transition amongst functional processes.
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders in managing the change towards a more efficient process and lean organization.
  • Develop and sustain a continuous improvement culture in which employees are empowered to improve the processes they support.

Business Process Improvement Initiatives

  • Understands and supervises documentation the current state business processes, including process objectives, CTQs and performance metrics, process maps, policies, risks and controls, process issues.
  • Designs and implements an appropriate process performance measurement system.
  • Designs the future state business processes, including: Analyzing the current-state process and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Liaisons with key stakeholders to define implementation plans and Implementation of the future state processes.
  • Designs Process Training and conducts Process Roadshows tailor-fitted to the organization’s culture.
  • Contributes towards the development of a continuous improvement culture.

Process Performance Monitoring

  • Defines control measures with respect to Process capability and efficiency
  • Incorporates the use of data analysis on all relevant information to understand risks and opportunities of targeted processes.
  • Sustain process improvement initiatives by designing performance dashboards that the concerned departments can use to monitor the impact of process improvements.
  • Work with respective departments and other members of the organization in assessing and tracking the business benefits of Process Improvement projects.

Project Management

  • Manages all process improvement initiatives as mandated and based on strategic plan and direction of JFC.
  • Recommends and prepares all related project plans to senior management for approval and implementation.
  • Organizes a project team (of cross-functional members) for a specific process improvement project.
  • Engages the concerned unit head as champion and process owner to promote active participation in the initiative.
  • Manages project status throughout the end to end process of the project with regular updates relative to plans and expectations.
  • Ensures that the project meets its commitments or that expectations are changed through regular communication with project owners, this will include the timely escalation of issues along with recommended actions.
  • Ensures that process design changes and system.

Job Qualifications

  • A degree holder in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience related in Process Improvement, Project Management and Change Management.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Advance knowledge in using BPI tools, value creation, Process Training, Knowledge Transfer management, SLAs and performance metrics.
  • Strong leadership skills with extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with diversified stakeholders from top management to individual contributors.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to conduct and direct research process improvement trends and best practices.
  • Strong systems analysis and process design skills with proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (hybrid set-up).
