What You’d Be Doing In This Role

The People Central Systems & Reporting team sits within the People Central (Shared Services), and is passionate about delivering second-line support for in-scope processes and tools such as Compensation Administration, Reporting and Dashboard solutions, technical support for People tools including Workday, Jira, and CultureAmp. The team ensures that our systems are optimized and streamlined, allowing Canvanauts to focus on doing their best work.

At The Moment, This Role Is Focused On

• Be a trusted support partner for Canva team members, providing guidance and assistance across our core HR systems - including Workday, reporting dashboards, and compensation workflows
• Dive into the data and make a meaningful impact by updating and maintaining our HRIS (Workday). Your attention to detail will help ensure our systems are accurate, reliable, and easy to navigate
• Support the process for implementing system changes by reviewing requests, tracking progress in tools like Jira, and working with partner teams to ensure updates are delivered clearly and sustainably
• Collaborate with other teams to keep work moving forward and clarify ownership when things feel unclear
• Identify and suggest process improvements that make our systems more efficient, scalable, and easier to navigate
• Create and maintain documentation and guides that help others understand and use our tools with confidence
  
  
  

You're Probably a Match If

• You bring at least 3 years of experience in HR shared services, HRIS support, or similar systems roles, ideally across multiple regions like APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.
• You’re comfortable using tools like Workday, Jira, and Google Sheets or Excel — and can navigate formulas and pivots with ease.
• You communicate clearly and thoughtfully, whether you’re writing or speaking, especially when things are moving quickly or you’re working cross-functionally.
• You have a sharp eye for detail, follow through on tasks, and proactively flag blockers or risks.
• You approach work with a systems mindset — thinking beyond the task at hand to understand the logic, improve clarity, and scale processes.
• You thrive in collaborative environments, are comfortable working across teams and tools, and aren’t afraid to ask questions or explore new ways of doing things.
