Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve chargeback disputes across card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), ensuring compliance with scheme rules and internal SLAs.
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes and exceptions across NPP, Direct Entry, and BPAY channels.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues and improve customer outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and stakeholders, providing transparent updates and resolution outcomes.
• Perform regular reconciliations of chargeback and dispute-related transactions to maintain accuracy.
• Identify and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Support documentation and training of dispute management procedures within the operations team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in payment operations or financial services, ideally with exposure to chargebacks and dispute resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Australian payments systems (NPP, DE, BPAY) preferred.
• Experience using data tools or SQL for operational insights is a plus.
