About the Role


The Operations Officer assists in the overall operations of Business Support Unit in terms of service delivery, productivity and strict compliance to established policies of the Bank and other regulatory agencies. Focus on the needs of customers (internal, external and stakeholders) and exceed their expectations within the perspective of a balanced approach between revenue, productivity/operating efficiency, and controls. Manage the career of the subordinates through a fair and reasonable measurement of performance and provide opportunities for growth and advancement, e.g. succession program, training, job rotation. Pursue the Continuous Improvement goal of the bank with the objective of improving Customer Service, Risk Management, Productivity, Cost Management and Human Resource Development within the unit.


How you'll contribute

  • Support Business Partners as agreed in the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Ensure service delivery to customers within the following agreed standards:
  • Accuracy - 100%
  • Responsiveness - friendly, professional
  • Timeliness - turnaround time under a formal Service Level Agreement
  • Acts as an Approver/Checker/Overrider and of various transactions/processes handled by BSU
  • a. Billing Statement
  • b. Manual status change in Digibanker 1 and 2
  • c. BIPPS suspect handling
  • d. e-Govt certification for Transactional
  • e. Watchlisted accounts / MIBA
  • f. API/AGI entries for posting
  • g. Billing files uploaded in UEP WAP and Digibanker Front Office
  • h. Releaser in Digi FO i. ADA activation for FWD/SB Finance/Other Merchants
  • Initiate projects and monitor its implementation to ensure that the recommended projects are met
  • Ensures that all tasks are being carried out in accordance to the bank’s standards and policies


What we're looking for

  • With 1 - 4 years of experience
  • With bachelor's degree; open to any field of study
  • Exercise good judgement, good interpersonal and human relation skills, problem solving skills and good leadership skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties; keen to details
  • Knowledge of the duties and responsibilities on various functions in Operations Group/Branch
