Who We Are

Mastercard Transaction Services is the division responsible for the management of the legal entities under which all of Mastercard’s current licensed money transfer services, and other future regulated activities, will be conducted. The division and its associated shared services functions, are housed under the umbrella of Mastercard Transaction Services and are comprised of the components which are necessary to support the activities of a licensed payment services firm.

Role overview

As the Manager of our Corporate Treasury team in Philippines, you will report directly to the Director, Corporate Treasury based in Dubai and will have the responsibility of managing the Philippine Rates team in Pasig. 

 

The Role

• Manages the Philippines Rates team, conducts goal setting, and performance appraisal processes
• Spearheads process improvement initiatives in the Rates team
• Performs calculations and provides analytical summary of data
• Translates data into insightful conclusions for decision making and strategy development
• Works with key stakeholders in delivering projects to address specific rates team needs specifically platform enhancements
• Takes actions to address risk issues according to established policies and monitors the implementation of action plans to reduce operational risks
• Investigates operational rates risk incidents and identifies the causes of the incident, process failures, financial impact and proposed risk mitigation and following up actions
• Provides analytical support across various treasury functions and special projects as requested
• Assists with external audit and risk assessment processes

• Detailed-oriented, meticulous, and highly organized 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Fast learner who is hands-on and enjoys the challenge of learning new knowledge
• An eye for identifying issues and devising probable solutions
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications  
• Excellent oral and written communications skills in English and Filipino
• At least 2 years of experience in people management and leading a team would be essential for this role
• Intermediate/Advance proficiency in MS office (particularly, Excel) would be required
• Experience in dashboards and tools such as Power BI and Tableau would be preferred
