Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to support our Melbourne-based office
manager. This role will involve handling repetitive but essential bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes across our Australian and US operations. Whilst bookkeeping tasks are primary to this role, we are also looking for someone to assist with some administrative tasks, supporting our investor relations team with platform maintenance and workflow.

This role reports directly to the Melbourne-based Office Manager, who has been managing these responsibilities to date.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to support our Melbourne-based office
manager. This role will involve handling repetitive but essential bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes across our Australian and US operations. Whilst bookkeeping tasks are primary to this role, we are also looking for someone to assist with some administrative tasks, supporting our investor relations team with platform maintenance and workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise and process monthly and quarterly fee invoices.
- Raise and process ad hoc invoices to recharge costs to investment entities.
- Reconcile credit card transactions for both Australia and US offices monthly using Xero.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of Australian accounts in Xero.
- Conduct quarterly reconciliation of US accounts in Xero.
- Enter invoices into Xero to prepare for accounts payable processing.
- Assist in preparing responses to audit team inquiries on an ad hoc basis.
- Coordinate reimbursements due to the business from staff errors on credit cards.
- General administrative assistance: Support the investor relations team with maintaining platforms, capturing investor information and any other ad hoc administration as needed.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a remote team.
- Prior experience with bookkeeping for Australian and US entities.

Working Conditions:
- Work setup: In-office (Ortigas)
- Working Hours: AU Timezone, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility around changing time zones.
