Library Intern

The Library Intern will assist in all phases of library and information work in the Knowledge Resource Center such as access services, technical work, and archiving/records management, and digitization.

JOB SUMMARY

Technical Services:

1. Assist in the technical processing of library materials (newly acquired books).

2. Assist in processing and inventory of library materials.

Archives and Records Center:

1. Grouping of sorted archival materials by record series (type of record), e.g., minutes of the meeting, memoranda, correspondences, etc.

2. Cleaning and buffering of sorted archival materials and putting them into clean folders.

3. Labeling and file naming of sorted archival materials.

4. Scanning of learning materials and documents.

Access Services:

1. Assist in updating patrons’ accounts in Koha ILS.

2. Assist in various activities of the library.

3. Assist in reference services and document delivery requests

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: currently pursuing Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) or any relevant courses

Location: willing to work in Makati City
