About the role

Avensys Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Events Support professional to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As the Asia Pacific Travel Meeting Events Support, you will play a crucial role in organizing and coordinating various events and meetings for our clients across the Asia Pacific region. This is a full-time position that offers an opportunity to be part of an innovative and fast-paced organization.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events, conferences, and meetings for clients in the Asia Pacific region
• Liaise with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of events
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and on-site support
• Provide administrative support, such as preparing event materials, managing registrations, and tracking event budgets
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute event-related communications and promotional materials
• Gather and analyze event feedback to identify areas for improvement
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all event-related activities

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in event management or a related field
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
• Proficient in using event management software and tools
• Familiarity with the Asia Pacific travel and hospitality industry is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
