KC Accounts Payable Team Leader

Would you like to be part of a regional finance team based in our knowledge centre in Cebu? We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Professional to join our Knowledge Centre in Cebu, where you will deliver customer-focused + operational excellence for the Asia Pacific region. If you enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders + being part of a project team, then this position is for you. 

Your Role

You will ensure the proper execution + continuous improvement for specialized accounts payable (AP) related activities, working towards achieving process efficiency. You will be part of a project team, collaborating closely with internal + external stakeholders to standardize, automate + leverage artificial intelligence to improve financial performance.

Your Responsibilities

• To oversee + execute specialized AP activities across the region.
• To take lead in driving the entire purchase-to-pay process.
• To prepare account reconciliations for vendors + suppliers, including performing investigation + handling escalations where necessary.
• To attend meetings + support in resolving disputed invoices with key vendors.
• To prepare payment cycles for special payments + supplier management.
• To ensure all financial reporting requirements are provided in an accurate + timely manner.
• To be part of a project team to standardize AP processes across the region leveraging automation + artificial intelligence.
• To support reviews of current processes, ensuring compliance + alignment with corporate guidelines, updating the regional guidelines.
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any related accounting course is required
• P2P end to end - experience managing a team
• Experience in driving Global Business Services or Shared Services
• Motivates a team and has strong leadership skills.
• Overall finance experience 6 or more years
• With project management experience 2-3 years
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with multiple stakeholders at the same time
• Track record in continuous improvement projects
