As a core member of our Product Development team you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.
Your Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering automation solutions across the Support Systems Engineering team and will work very closely within existing team to support testing activities for projects covering application changes across a number of products and platforms
The role will include assisting with test design and performing test execution for designated projects, together with support for our continuous process improvement activities.
The candidate should have proven automation testing skills (UI and API), who demonstrate expertise in a variety of software testing concepts, practices, and procedures.
The candidate will interact closely with the global project team, as well as working with development and business analysts, and other technical groups and resources within Citco
It will involve the creation of scalable, efficient, performant and maintainable automation scripts whilst ensuring the highest quality of test automation script coverage
The candidate will also be part of a team responsible for integrating the automation program into the existing CI/CD process and ensuring the efficient integration within an agile project structure

Job Duties In Brief
- Create, maintain and optimize automation scripts and assure that they cover all business requirements within the agreed scope.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts using automated testing tools and framework (particularly Robot Framework).
- Participate in peer reviews of test scripts to ensure adherence to development and testing standards.
- Integration of test automation frameworks to CI/CD
- Work closely with technical and non-technical peers and project stakeholders to promote successful delivery of products and services.
- Work with the project team to develop credible, accurate, and timely assessments of quality along with detailed information about system strengths and weaknesses.
- Communicate, report and take responsibility on assigned tasks.
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives related to the current test project.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar discipline or with relevant working experience
- Strong Technical Knowledge in PYTHON and ROBOT Framework
- Experience in integration of Testing Framework to CI/CD – Jenkins/Octopus
- Experience with Git source and version control
- Good knowledge of HTTP/ REST APIs
- Experience with AWS Technologies is highly desirable
- Extensive knowledge of testing methodologies
- 2-3 years of experience as Quality Assurance Automation resource
- 2-3 years of experience in testing using the following tools: XRAY, JIRA, Confluence and similar technologies
- At least 2 years programming experience in Python, JavaScript, database and related technologies
- Experience with various Automation Frameworks; WebdriverIO, Robot Framework, Cypress
- Self-motivated, innovative and analytical with strong attention to detail
- Has a strong sense of responsibility and service minded attitude
- Is organized, accurate and self-motivated
- Can think creatively and propose options/solutions to challenges
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively in a global team environment
