To address the growing mandates, potential client base, and increased demand for unique institutional solutions, the Client Solutions Group - Institutional Team within the Business Development Group is organically expanding. We are openly looking to fill a few levels within the team depending on the experience of the candidate chosen.
Business Development Team Support's Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The role primarily entails strategically support in all key functions of the Institutional Business Development Lead:
- New Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities from targeted institutional sectors through active prospecting, lead generation, and networking.
- Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to penetrate underserved markets, presenting ATRAM’s investment solutions as a competitive advantage.
- Sales Strategy Development: Design and deliver compelling sales pitches and proposals, leveraging well-researched data and market insights to engage potential clients.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and strengthen long-term partnerships with decision-makers and key stakeholders in client organizations.
- Industry Engagement: Represent ATRAM in industry events, forums, and associations to stay ahead of market trends and generate new leads.
- Collaboration Across Units: Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and solution implementation.
- Champion Marketing Initiatives: Develop engaging marketing materials, including the ATRAM Edge and Investor Education forums, to support sales initiatives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and ensure all activities aligned with compliance standards.
- Performance Metrics: Track sales performance metrics and ensure the achievement of quarterly and annual business development targets.
Competencies required:
- Strong ability to support in most of the functions above
- Quick learner that can develop exceptional sales acumen and negotiation skills in time
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for internal stakeholder management
- Ability to analyze market trends and client needs
- Proficiency in creating impactful presentations (PowerPoint, Canva)
- Proficient in data analysis, leveraging CRM platforms effectively, and utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel tools for reporting and decision-making.
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset
Education and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, Certified Investment Solicitor) are a plus.
- Minimum of 2-5 years in frontline or support functions within sales, business development, or relationship management with experience acquired either banking, asset management, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge or interest of economics, financial markets, and investment products
