What You’ll Do
- Become the subject matter expert on the Workday Procurement tool and internal procurement policies to ensure effective, compliant execution of all purchasing operations.
- Coordinate the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle by accurately reviewing, adjusting, and approving a high volume of purchase requests (PRs) and managing purchase order (PO) and goods receipt (GR) discrepancies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal users, providing comprehensive business support for all inquiries, issues, and requests related to the P2P process.
- Ensure strict purchasing compliance and adherence to internal policies across all transactions, contributing to efficient and auditable operations.
- Execute all tasks related to the supplier lifecycle, including supporting the onboarding, qualification, performance evaluation, and offboarding processes for suppliers.
- Maintain the integrity of procurement data by creating and updating standard goods and services data within the purchasing system.
- Support continuous process improvement by providing actionable feedback for the Guided Buying system and related processes to drive operational efficiency.
- Facilitate key supporting activities such as contract reviews, managing the claims process, and assisting with small-volume tenders to secure the most competitive offers for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance teams to support the invoice reconciliation process, ensuring a smooth and accurate three-way-match (PO-GR-Invoice).
- Proven knowledge of procurement systems, demonstrating the ability to quickly become an expert in platforms like Workday Procurement and other supporting tools (e.g., JIRA, Icertis).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills necessary to manage a high volume of PRs/POs accurately and maintain reliable procurement data.
- A proactive, independent problem-solver mindset capable of investigating and resolving P2P edge cases, discrepancies, and user issues using sound judgment.
- Clear, effective, and professional communication skills (both oral and written English) to provide excellent user support and collaborate across departments.
- Strong orientation toward process efficiency, with the ability to identify opportunities to challenge the status quo and contribute to system and process improvements.
- Proficiency in business technology, including excellent functional knowledge of spreadsheets (Microsoft Office/G-Suite), presentation tools, and familiarity with databases.
