Coordinator Health and Safety

1. Provide leadership to all Qualfon offices, and providing the support needed to ensure success on the matter.

• Develop and execute safety plans aligned with Qualfon’s strategic goals.
• Drives continuous improvement and best practice in all EH&S programs.
• Position acts as a “go to” single point of contact for all security matters including access control, information control, training, and other duties set forth by the company
• Oversees the EHS needs identification of each site and ensures proper procedures to follow to prevent incidents.

2. Understands legal requirements on EHS that apply to the company in every site

• Continuously reviews and updates legal requirements that apply on this matter to the company
• Gather reports of every site responsible related to the compliance of country requirements.
• Communicates the related requirements of EHS

3. Coordinate internal audits to evaluate performance with the EHS requirements

• Conducts assessments about EHS performance in the company
• Reports the results with the corresponding site management and corporate involved management.
• Manage the creation, updating and maintenance of all the documentation related to EHS
• Maintain documentation to support the execution of EHS activities

4. Coordinate the development of educational campaigns about aspects of EHS

• Coordinate campaigns on issues related to the prevention of occupational hazard

Documentation and Report - Knowledge of appropriate data/information to be collected, reported, and monitored. Ability to extract, compile, assimilate, organize, and store in printed and electronic form such data/information required for reporting and monitoring purposes.

Records Management - Ability to organize, safeguard, maintain and update all types of records and files in an orderly and systematic manner. Ability to establish filing & records keeping system for easy storing and retrieval.

Handling Confidential Matters - Ability to maintain and safeguard the confidentiality of certain information and matters being entrusted.

Area of Expertise (Skills)

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or Post graduate degree
• Minimum 3-5 years of equivalent professional experience
• Good understanding of RA 10058 compliance requirements, Physical Security systems, equipment and applications.
• Work related experience on Health & Safety (OSH Certification / Licensed - Preferred) and Environmental (Safety Officer and Pollution Control Officer role)
• Must have credential as certified security professionals and safety practitioner or equivalent
• Should have a strong background on safety and health, preferably with Business Continuity Management
• Knowledge on ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 31000 and ISO 14001
• Trained First Aider/Basic Life Support
