Graphic Design Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a talented Graphic Design Specialist to join our dynamic team at Global Moving Resources Corporation in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling and impactful designs that support our company's marketing and branding initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Work closely with the Marketing team to meet their graphic design needs.
• Conceptualise, design, and refine a variety of communication material for both digital and print.
• Develop user-friendly templates and social media brand guidelines and provide support to internal teams on working with templates and the guideline and adhering to company brand standards.
• Resizing and exporting of artwork.
• Assist in the development of the new identity.
• Liaise and review work with external printers and developers.
• Assisting with eDM templates, website design requirements, including copywriting & content creating.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure the consistency and effective delivery of product positioning.
• Presenting final design concepts, including explanations, specifications for fonts, images, colors, text and layout, to clients for their approval
• Develop and design a wide range of marketing materials, including print and digital assets such as logos, brochures, flyers, presentations, social media graphics, and more
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that align with our brand guidelines and strategic objectives
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and software to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of your work
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative design concepts and solutions
• Provide constructive feedback and support to other design team members to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a graphic design role, preferably within the design & architecture industry
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong aesthetic sensibility and an eye for typography, layout, and colour
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas
• Adaptability to work under tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise multiple projects
• Passion for staying informed about industry trends and continuously learning and improving your craft
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiarity with version control tools
• Relevant qualification in Graphic Design (Bachelor degree or Advanced Diploma)
• Good communication skills — to be able to present your ideas and your rationale
• Creative and innovative
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Exceptional proficiency in graphic design principles: Hierarchy, Space, Balance, Typography, Composition
• A broad array of graphic design experience supported by a portfolio of relevant work.
• Strong time management skills including prioritisation and an ability to work innovatively to solve complex issues.
• Must be able to multi-task and keep calm under pressure.
• Ability to exercise initiative and work both independently and cooperatively.
• Ability to perform basic copywriting/editing skills.
