Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a Graduate Software Developer to join our Global Software Solutions team and work alongside our software development team to design, code, test, and deploy our software products.
This following is a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Design, code, test, and deploy software applications. Ensure that your code meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Take ownership of your tasks and projects. Ensure timely completion and proactively address any issues that arise.
- Work independently and manage your workload effectively. Seek out opportunities for improvement and take initiative in your work.
- Work closely with team members, including senior leaders and peers. Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with team members and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on your progress and seek feedback to improve.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Minimum education of university degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Core and .NET framework.
- Knowledge of ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of unit and integration testing.
- Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks like AngularJs, Vue.js or React.
- Exposure with Umbraco CMS (Preferably version 9+) in core development and customization
- Exposure to cloud services such as Azure Functions, Blob Storage, and SQL.
