How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
We are looking for a quick learner who excels at working with multiple cultures and combines telecom and civil engineering skills.
As part of the team, you will:
- Perform Outside Plant Design for telecommunications access networks, specifically for FTTH and backbone and backhaul networks
- Review documentation necessary for the design process
- Review and load as-built documentation and network inventory into customer configuration inventory systems
- Conduct viabilities and extensions studies
Key Skills And Experience
You have :
- University/College degree in studies related to Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial, Building/Architecture, Civil Works, Topography/Geography or equivalent. Vocational Degree/Diploma in the above-mentioned fields may also be considered,
- Microsoft Office knowledge and experience in CAD environments,
- GIS environment experience,
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. (level of upper-intermediate (CEFR level B2)).
- 1-2 years’ experience in Fiber to the Home (FTTH) network design, pre-design and/or as-built documentation (feeder, distribution, drop),
- A professional engineering license,
- Understanding of project management,
- Understanding of the telecommunications industry.
