About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this full-time Flight Dispatcher role at NAVSTAR AVIATION SERVICES INC in Pasig City Metro Manila is a crucial part of the operations team, responsible for coordinating and overseeing the effective and efficient dispatch of aircraft.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and monitor flight plans to ensure the safe and timely dispatch of aircraft
- Coordinate with air traffic control, pilots, and other stakeholders to address any operational issues or changes
- Monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to flight plans
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all flight operations
- Provide support and assistance to the flight crew as needed
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure aircraft are serviced and ready for flight
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Flight Dispatcher or similar role in the aviation industry
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders
- Proficient in using flight planning software and other aviation-related technology
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions
- Familiarity with weather analysis and its impact on flight operations
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and compliance
